(This message brought to you in honor of International Women’s Day.)

In most countries, men don’t own women anymore. That being said, we still have just a FEW issues to work on, like:

  • equal pay for equal work
  • slut shaming/rape culture
  • equality in politics (men have an easier track to elected positions)
  • different treatment of women in the home (cooking, cleaning, diapers…)
  • different expectations (sometimes subliminal) for women in education
  • a culture that masculinizes some and feminizes others
  • a culture that focuses on “beauty” as one of the most important attributes for females
  • and so on… (I did say this would be a partial list, right?)

What are you doing to help equality?!?!?
